First (Free) Software Release
I released "Dimension Plus", an audio plugin that models sound reverberation in spaces.

May 2016
I released "Dimension Plus", an audio plugin that models sound reverberation in spaces.
February 2017
I released and sold the first copy of my software "Dimension Plus Pro" to a customer in Japan.
2017 - 2018
I worked at my local grocery store throughout the second half of high school.
February 2018
I was accepted to Tufts University to pursue Electrical Engineering.
September 2018
I started my EE degree at Tufts! GO 'BOS!
2019
After failing to secure a summer internship (I did not realize how competitive they were), I was back at S&S for one last summer.
Spring 2020
Stuck at home with an FPGA, I decided to make a synthesizer and thought I could sell it. Note to self. Don't go into hardware during a chip shortage... Everything went up in price 2-10x and ruined any potential profit margin...
Summer 2020
This is deep into COVID. I did a remote internship making compact models of GaN FinFETS for RF and power applications.
Summer 2021
I did research with Prof. Aseema Mohanty during her first year at Tufts. This was my first exposure to research and is also when I decided to apply to PhD programs.
February 2022
I made the first (and only) sale of my FPGA synthesizer "Twins" to an artist (who had played at Coachella!!!). It was a significant milestone for Davisynth Audio but the customer found bugs and it ended up being a whole ordeal with me shipping multiple versions with fixes. This was a big learning moment when I realized just how much work goes into making a physical product for customers. I was not ready to handle any of this. This was a very painful and expensive failure, but also a golden learning experience that made me better as an entrepreneur.
March 2022
I was accepted to several PhD programs, including Harvard University, where I was admitted under Prof. Marko Loncar and Prof. Gage Hills.
May 2022
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with Highest Thesis Honors from Tufts University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Physics.
Summer 2022
I did electrical testing and device modeling of boost converters on GaN-on-Sapphire wafers to identify and characterize parasitic capacitances and leakage pathways.
September 2022
I started my PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering at Harvard University working under Prof. Gage Hills in the Harvard Nano-Design Research Group. I opted to remain in this group because I liked my project and the freedom I was given by Prof. Hills. I tend to thrive in small teams with less structure.
December 2022
Bootstrapping a hardware synthesizer company during a chip shortage and no experience in the industry was a really bad idea. Software has a much lower barrier to entry and I had experience here thanks to my high school projects.
Summer 2023
I released my first software under Davisynth Audio. I spent 6 months researching and developing a new type of spectrum analyzer with 2x faster response time and 2.5x better resolution so that I could get accurate frequency graphs for fast-moving, low-frequency sounds, like kick drums. Then, I used this new super-ability to re-synthesize all the frequencies happening at any given instant for time-accurate spectral freezing, which I call Live Freeze.
September 2023
While visiting grandma for a week, I decided to make a small delay plugin with cool stereo mixing in the feedback loop. I released this for free to much fanfare. >20k downloads and 100-200 daily active users (measured).
Summer 2024
My second and most successful paid software release under the Davisynth brand. I released Ripple Delay as a big brother to Spiral Delay with both a free and paid version. This plugin has been consistently praised for its unique sound and feature set and was featured in several "Top Plugins" lists (not sponsored).
May 2024
I passed my PhD qualifying exams. My committee was Prof. Lene Hau, Prof. Gu-Yeon Wei, Prof. Kiyoul Yang, and Prof. Gage Hills.
June 2025
Presented my first paper on linearized-power segmented optical modulators at VLSI Symposium in Kyoto.
Summer 2025
I'm an AI Hardware Research Intern at Intel's Parallel Computing Lab in Santa Clara, CA. I work full-time during summers and part-time during the school year.
September 2025
Between Intel and my PhD, I had to scale back Davisynth stuff and could no longer actively market my plugins. I decided to cut the price significantly to $12 in exchange for not doing dedicated customer service anymore. This was replaced with a 30-day return button on the website which I wired after learning PHP (I'm glad I did, because I found, reported, and patched a zero-day exploit in a paid wordpress plugin that was leaking my API credentials. WTF!!!). The $12 strategy makes enough money to cover business expenses but not much else. Well worth it in terms of less stress
October 2025
Co-authored this work that my colleague Georgios presented at ICCAD in Munich.
December 2025
Presented my second paper on linearized-power segmented optical modulators (this time with one electrode/bit) at IEDM in San Francisco.
Summer 2026
Increased hours to full-time and was able to take a bigger role in the project.
Today
